Overview

SEE LIKE lets you capture or choose photos so selected Lenses can return observations or visual concepts. The app is designed to keep private prompts and AI keys on the server, not inside the iPhone app.

Data Used

The app may use account identifiers, email address, purchase status, selected photos, generated results, saved reports, and user-submitted feedback to provide app functionality. If you explicitly enable a place-aware Lens suggestion, the app may also use approximate location. Exact location is not required for photo analysis.

Why Photos Are Used

Photos are used to run the Lens the user selects, display the analyzed image or visual result, save reports, and help the user report an incorrect result. Photos are not used for cross-app tracking.

Photos And Analysis

Before upload, the app prepares an analysis copy of a selected image and removes unnecessary metadata, including embedded location data. Analysis copies are uploaded to private Supabase Storage and shared with OpenAI by a protected server function only for the Lens request. The app asks the server not to store AI responses for model training. Live or automatic analysis sends selected sampled frames, not a continuous video stream.

Approximate Location

Location is optional and used only after permission for place-aware Lens suggestions. Coordinates are reduced to coarse context before they are sent. SEE LIKE does not use location for advertising or tracking.

Service Providers

Supabase provides authentication, private storage, database, and server functions. OpenAI processes selected images and public Lens context from those server functions. RevenueCat and Apple process purchase and subscription status. These providers process data under their applicable terms and security controls. SEE LIKE does not sell personal data or use it for cross-app tracking.

Purchases

Purchases and subscription entitlements are handled through Apple in-app purchase and RevenueCat. The app does not use a separate client-side entitlement system to unlock paid Lenses.

Account Deletion

You can permanently delete your account inside the app from Profile, Account Safety, Delete Account. The authenticated deletion removes the account, private images, scans, reports, profile data, and SEE LIKE purchase-entitlement records. Deleting the account does not cancel an Apple subscription; subscriptions must be managed through Apple.

Retention

By default, uploaded source images are deleted after each completed or failed analysis request. A user may disable that setting to retain a private source image until account deletion. Saved reports and generated results remain while the account is active unless deleted. Ephemeral live-analysis frames are not retained as permanent files unless the user explicitly freezes and saves a report. Service providers may keep limited operational records for security and legal purposes under their terms.

Safety Limits

SEE LIKE results are informational. The app does not provide certified inspection, engineering, medical, legal, accessibility, fire-code, vehicle, or product-safety certification.
